About Us
Gerbera Care Foundation is an NGO that supports the welfare and the health of the girl child, the female gender at large and the marginalized community. At Gerbera Care Foundation one of our missions is to provide empowerment tools for personal growth and development, as we join in the fight to eradicate physical and mental poverty in the younger generation.
What we do
We have been involved in various social impact projects ranging from but not limited to:
- HIV awareness and breast cancer sensitization to over 200 secondary school students (Feb- 2020)
- Job fair (2021): Secured both part-time and full-time employment for a minimum of 40 young ladies in order to help them make a decent living and enable them desist from making unfavorable and dangerous decision (2021)
- Upskill 2021 was a week-long training in both soft and hard skills to over 40 students (August 2021)
- Project 50: giving of welfare package to over 40 young ladies across Nigeria including northern Nigeria . (April 2022)
- Soft skills in 9 government school across Kosofe LGA in Lagos State (2022).
Our Projects

Project Padup
This project focuses on improving the menstrual health and knowledge of the girl-child through menstrual hygiene sensitization and distribution of sanitary towels to 500 Female Students in 9 Public schools

Project 50
Is a charity visit to the Physically Challenged School for relevant skill acquisition, mental health Sensitization and Self-esteem awareness.

Ripple 2.0
Is focused on medical and welfare outreach to a marginalized community.

Career Seminar
Professionals in various fields are invited to talk to students about various career paths they can choose as a guide towards their new path after school.

Project Build
This is a Book club project, where books are donated to the schools in other to instill the reading culture in the average student to broaden their horizon in the journey of life and self-discovery.

Campaign
The Millennial days are ways to remember and maximize the significance of these days, thereby creating massive awareness to the girl child and society at large.
- 6th February international day of female genital mutilation (FGM).
- 27th April International Day for girls in ICT. (SheCode)
